EMPTY CHAMBER
When the filter plates finish separating cakes, the demolding unit keeps a constant distance between them.
Filter plates separated by the HYD. Cylinder contact the tail frame.
When they make a contact, they have empty space as shown in the picture. When all the filter plates stick to each other closely, slurry feeding is ready and the slurry feeding pump starts running. |

SLURRY FEEDING
When the slurry feeding pump works, the butterfly valve of the slurry inlet connected to the filter press becomes open to fill filter plate chambers with slurry.
Slurry feeding ends when the pump reaches its load limit.
When slurry fill up the filter plate, pump load goes up, which results in dewatering. |

CORE AIR BLOWING
To prevent sludge formed in the core (slurry incoming path of filter plate insides) from solidifying, the air is blown into the opposite direction of slurry input.
At this time, the slurry inlet valve is closed and core blowing outlet valve is open. And the blowing pressure is 6~9kg/㎠. |
|
| |
SQUEEZING
Water contained in the membrane sheet are squeezed to dewater cakes formed in the filter plate insides.
The pressure is 16~20kg/㎠ for high efficiency. |

DICHARGE of CAKE
When the slurry feeding pump runs, the butterfly valve of the slurry inlet connected to the filter press is open and slurry fills each chamber of filter plates.
Slurry feeding ends when the pump reaches its load limit.
When slurry fill up the filter plate, pump load goes up, which results in dewatering. |
