EMPTY CHAMBER
When the filter plates finish separating cakes, the demolding unit keeps a constant distance between them. Filter plates separated by the HYD. Cylinder contact the tail frame. When they make a contact, they have empty space as shown in the picture. When all the filter plates stick to each other closely, slurry feeding is ready and the slurry feeding pump starts running.

SLURRY FEEDING
When the slurry feeding pump works, the butterfly valve of the slurry inlet connected to the filter press becomes open to fill filter plate chambers with slurry. Slurry feeding ends when the pump reaches its load limit. When slurry fill up the filter plate, pump load goes up, which results in dewatering.

CORE AIR BLOWING
To prevent sludge formed in the core (slurry incoming path of filter plate insides) from solidifying, the air is blown into the opposite direction of slurry input. At this time, the slurry inlet valve is closed and core blowing outlet valve is open. And the blowing pressure is 6~9kg/㎠.

CORE WASHING
Sludge remaining after the core blowing process can damage filter plates and pumps. To prevent such damage, the core is washed with clean water.

CAKE WASHING
The clean water is injected into the chamber to remove cakes.

SQUEEZING
The air is pressured into the membrane sheet to dewater cakes formed in filter plates.

DRYING
Heat is transferred to the chamber where cakes are formed. And then sludge with 5~10% of water content is created. As sludge weight is reduced due to low water content, saved are costs for transportation and post processing.

DICHARGE of CAKE
When the slurry feeding pump runs, the butterfly valve of the slurry inlet connected to the filter press is open and slurry fills each chamber of filter plates. Slurry feeding ends when the pump reaches its load limit. When slurry fill up the filter plate, pump load goes up, which results in dewatering.
